Hero's Spruce
In summer 2025, the Aspen Snowmass’ Mountain Planning team harvested Engelmann spruce trees during the glading of the new Hero’s terrain on Aspen Mountain. That wood was transferred to Wagner Custom’s Telluride factory, kiln-dried, and handcrafted into topsheet material for a limited-edition “Trees to Skis” collection.
The natural spruce grain shines through each ski, making every pair a functional work of art and an Aspen collectible.
